Biome Scientia – A Scientific Publishing Company

Life Sciences, Medicine and Biomedicine is owned and managed by publisher Biome Scientia Sdn Bhd, a publishing company registered and based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The journal is established using the Open Access model to encourage maximum dissemination of scientific information.

The company manages the journal using internal financial resources, including very minimal income from the article processing charges from accepted manuscripts. However, since 1 January 2020, all article processing charges are waived.

The success story of Life Sciences, Medicine and Biomedicine

2017:

• Establishment of the Editorial Board, registration with ISSN and publication of Vol 1 Issue 1.

2018:

• Registration and Inclusion in MyJurnal - Citation and Infometric Division, Ministry of Education, Malaysia.

2019:

• The first Special Issue - 5th International Anatomical Sciences & Cell Biology Conference was published.

2020:

• In January 2020, the Journal opted to a one (1) issue per year publication, adopting the continuous publication system, where manuscripts are processed for peer-review and published as it is accepted throughout the year;
• Accepted for Indexing in Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and Scilit.net;
• Inclusion in Sherpa Romeo, an online resource that aggregates and analyses publisher open access policies;
• Listed with the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) supporting the ICMJE's Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical.

2021 - 2022:

• Establishment of the International Advisory Board;
• Preparation and submission for listing in other indexing platforms;
• Commencement of the iThenticate service for all submitted manuscript before peer review on 1 July 2021;
• Release of Special Issues for:
